Happy Holidays! Each year I look forward to sitting down to put our holiday card together. Since having our son our cards have been a collection of photos taken over the year and an opportunity for us to share Mason’s growth along with a few highlights. This year was no different with the exception I found myself with many photos I wanted to include in our 2014 Holiday Card. I made an effort this year to have professional Holiday Photos taken so that we could truly capture the season.
As a designer I do my best to put something together that is different than what I offer in my shop so that I may be able to have a keepsakes sincere and delicate to my heart for just my family. This year was tough not offering these tri-fold booklet holiday cards, but may need to change that for next year. I’m in love with the room that this 5×15 card allows. The ideas and photos are endless. I matched the set with printed envelopes and address labels that secured the back of the envelope. The booklet folded nicely as a 5×5 and I tied the booklet with a little bit of twine. Assembly was fun and easy!
One of my holiday card traditions is to capture who Mason has grown to become and remember the things he loves. Documenting some of his favorites was by far my favorite memory of this season. My heart melted when he shared what he wanted to be “a mommy and daddy!” Wow, we are who he looks up to!
I wish you a Happy Holiday Season with many beautiful memories with your friends and family!
