I am a mom to two boys, Mason and Nicholas, and a wife to my husband, Derek. We reside in New England where we adore the sun and beach months and wish the winters away.

A Delicate Gift, The Blog

As my boys grow I enjoy taking my passion and incorporating into our life.   The blog started as an extension of our Party Studio. Starting Fall of 2018, the blog represents who I am as a mother and how I tackle our life. I still enjoy creating and design work; therefore my designs have recently sampled into classroom activities, resources to supplement school activities, our playroom, and daily family functions. My blog is a resource for families and teachers who like to celebrate and treasure life’s moments ( e.g first day of school,  scoring a goal at soccer, losing a tooth, holidays, learning how to read and write). I share the tools that help our family celebrate and or tackle activities in hopes it can help others.

A Delicate Gift, The Studio

The Studio has transformed over the years as I have involved as a mother. We started as Party Decor Studio, grew to incorporate Event Design and Planning , and now we are so happy to have our focus on Home and Family Life. I have dreamed of having a place where details can be carefully selected and appreciated for every occasion, person, and life’s moments whether that be a birthday celebration, classroom party, to anticipating that first loose tooth.

When my son was born in 2011 I left my career in Student Affairs to be a stay-at-home mom and a year later launched A Delicate Gift  for families looking for event design, coordinating, consulting, and resources to assist in appreciating and celebrating life’s moments. We realize each moment is very different.    My life at the moment pulls me to spend as much time as possible with my family.  I  have carefully decided to limit the number of custom orders I take a year as my priority has shifted where it matters most- My Family.
